Anything Goes...Another Entry

This is a card I made for my nephew's birthday. In case you haven't noticed, the recurring theme on my cards lately is that they are late!

I'm entering this card in the SP Blog Anything Goes Challenge.

 linkingupwithspbutton

I used the same stamp as my last entry...SP & Company's Bold Sentiments III: Birthdays Stamp Set . The truck is from Close To My Heart's Maximum Power Stamp set. Even though the card was for a guy, I couldn't resist adding a little bling on the lights on top of the truck. I hope you like it!

SP Challenge

This card is being entered on the SP Blog for an Anything Goes Challenge.

 linkingupwithspbutton

I used SP & Company's Bold Sentiments III: Birthdays Stamp Set. The girl is stamped using the Unity stamp called Anastasia (fashionista). I think she is great for cards for young girls. I made this card for my niece.

You should go over there and check out all the great stuff happening on her blog. Sami is having some great giveaways and is celebrating 1 million visits to her blog.

SP & Company Christmas Card Challenge

Here's a Christmas card that I made for my husband. I'm not to great with coloring... yet! Maybe I should be taking some of Sami's coloring classes!

Anyways, I glittered the trim on her dress and hat. Then added a pompom on her hat, stickles on her shoes and blinged up her belt and bow! I also cut the candy cane and put it in her hand.

I used the SP & Company's Filled with Cheer Emma stamp set which can be purchased here. I highly recommend Sami's stamps. They give such crisp impressions.

Hope you like it!

Scrapmaster's Paradise Cupcake & Candy Challenge

This card is going to be entered in Scrapmaster's Paradise Cupcake & Candy Challenge. Think Halloween treats, Christmas or winter holiday treats, birthdays, etc. I decided to make a masculine birthday card with cupcakes. I just don't have enough masculine cards.

For this card I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder from the Once Upon A Princess Set. The chevron paper was a sample that Sami sent me with my recent order. I used 2 SP & Company stamp sets. The frame is from Handmade Holiday Gift Tags and the sentiment is from Mix 'n Match: Basics. SP & Company stamps are so great to mix 'n match with each other.

Hope you like it!

My Creative Time Designer Challenge

The challenge at My Creative Time is to create a project using ONLY "Black & White". Of course, I made a card. I love the black and white and think I'll have to make some more cards.

I used My Creative Time's Teeny Tag Greetings stamp set. I stamped the sentiment using the Stitched Curly Label Die and shadowed the sentiment using Curly Label Die. I used Ice White Viva Decor Pearl Pen for the inside of the flower. I kind of messed up with the pearls but I guess that's what makes it "homemade"!

Hope you like it!

Square Card Challenge

Here is another card that I made for My Creative Time's Square Card Challenge.

The old guy in the chair is from Art Impressions "Oscar". The banner and sentiment is from SP & Company's Happy Banners stamp set. The "Old Guys Rule" came from paper that I bought at JoAnn's.

This card was for my father-in-law's 75th birthday. He got a kick out of it.

Another Red, White & Blue...

I decided to do something a little different than a card this time. I made a gift card holder for my D-I-L's birthday gift. This is a super easy holder to make.

I stamped Happy Birthday in blue ink but it's kind of hard to tell. The sentiment comes from SP & Company's Happy Banner's stamp set. This is one of my "go to" sets.

Thanks for looking!

This card will be entered in the following challenges:

Scrapmaster's Paradise Trends Challenge #11 - Red, White & Blue

and

My Creative Time's Square Card Challenge

This card is being entered in Pink By Design's Summer Food & Drinks Challenge.

I think burgers on the grill qualify for summer food. This was an invitation I made for a cookout.

Color Combo Challenge #145

It's another Color Combo Challenge #145 over at Scrapmaster's Paradise. The colors are:

I used SP & Company's Certified Awesome stamp set and dies and Tiny  Build a Banner stamp set. I also used Close to My Heart Classmate Alphabet set for the ruled paper. The background paper is from Echo Park Beautiful Life. I thought the sentiment fit perfectly with this paper.

I mounted everything on a navy card base and popped up the banner. Super simple! I didn't even add any bling. I made this card in about an hour which is very quick for me.  Spelling out "beyond measure" took the most time.

I'm thinking of giving this to my hubbie who is more amazing than I let him know!

Another Entry!

I've decide to enter another card in the Scrapmaster's Paradise Trends Challenge #10 using negative space and My Creative Time's Bling it Up Challenge

I wanted to do another take on this by using the negative space of a die cut that I had and sponged it onto a card. The flower is from Stampin' Up. It's called Blessed Mother. I used Tim Holtz Distress Pens to color the stamp. The sentiment is from SP & Company's Bold Sentiment I. I used a gem for the center of the flower.

I didn't have anybody in particular to give this card to but you can never have to many thank you cards in your stash. This was probably one of the quickest cards I have made!!

Pink By Design Challenge

Pink by Design is having a Vintage Challenge. There is still time to enter.

I used K & Company Designer Mat Pad for the papers. The bird and the nest are also from the same company. To me the papers and colors look very vintagy (if that is a word :) ). The Happy Mother's Day was cut on my Cricut.  Of course, it had to have some bling so I used pearls.

My mom loved the card!

One Card...3 Challenges!

This card will be entered in the following challenges:

SP & Company Color Challenge #144 - using the following colors:

SP & Company Trends Challenge #10  - using negative space.

My Creative Time Designer Challenge - Bling It Up

The background paper is from Echo Park Beautiful Life. It had all the colors that I needed for the color challenge. The base of the card is red although it's hard to tell  from the picture. I cut out a scallop from the middle of the paper using my Spellbinders die (thus giving me the negative space).

The Happy Birthday and the heart come from SP & Company's Round Sentiments I stamp set. The banner is from SP & Company's Stitchery Doo Banners set. Kelly was spelled using SP & Company's Tiny Build A Banner set.

The butterflies were punched using Stampin' Up punches and stamped with the Stampin' Up Papillon Potpourri. I've never seen a red butterfly but I'm sure there's one out there somewhere is this great big world!  I blinged up the flower centers using Stickles and put rhinestones on the butterflies.

On the inside of the card I used SP & Company's Bold Birthday Sentiments.

This will be the first card that I have made for my new daughter-in-law. I hope she enjoys it.

Here's a close up of the center and a butterfly.

And finally the inside of the card.

SP Color Challenge #142

This is for SP's Color Challenge #142 using the following colors and SP & Company stamps. I used 3 different stamp sets for this card...Ultimate Sentiments I, For Every Woman and Stitchery Doo Banners. Sami's stamps mix 'n match very well. I love them!

My SIL's birthday is coming up in June so I thought I'd get a head start. The butterflies are from Stampin' Up embosslits and their new butterfly punch. I probably went a little over board with the liquid pearls and stickles, but I do love to bling up a card! :)

Trends Challenge #9

Here is another card that I am entering in Scrapmaster's Paradise Trends Challenge #9.

Wow...this one was a LOT of work! My inspiration for the card came from the spring 2013 issue of CardMaker magazine. It is a cascading card. I made it for Mother's day... twice! I made one for my mom and another for my MIL. I just changed up the sentiments a little on each one.

Here's the other...

And here is a picture showing how it cascades...

I used quite a few different stamps sets on these cards.

SP & Company's Fashionista Alphabet to spell MOM
SP & Company's Mix 'n Match Sentiments: Friends, Kids, Basics and Occasions
SP & Company's For Every Women Stamp Set

I also used EK Success Punch, Tim Holtz Flourish Die, Stampin' Up Bird punch, Martha Steward Punch (behind the bird), Hero Arts Banner Punch & Stamp and Stampin' Up Butterfly punch and embosslits and Spellbinders label die.

I think I MORE than met the challenge! lol

3 Challenges: For The Fun Of It and Using Dies & Punches and Graduation!

I am entering this card at Scrapmaster's Paradise Color Combo Challenge #141 using the following colors.

I am also entering it in her other challenge...Trends Challenge #9 using dies or punches and any of Sami's stamps and Pink By Design's Graduation Challenge.

I decided to make a graduation card. The brown and orange are the colors of my niece's school.

.

I used Big Build a Banner 2 dies for the banner and Big Build a Banner 2 stamp set for the numbers. The sentiment was from one of $1 stamps at Pat Catan's (I think it's a local store only).

Scrapmaster's Paradise Trends Challenge #8

Scrapmaster's Paradise Trends Challenge #8  is called Fun with Inks.

l wasn't sure exactly what that meant but here is my take on it. This is a very rare card for me... as it is all one layer except the button with twine.

I used SP & Company's Journal This stamp set for the grid background. For the sentiment I use SP & Company's Bold Sentiments I. The butterfly stamp is from Stampin' Up Papillon Potpourri. I used Tim Holtz markers to color the butterfly all the different colors.

I'm thinking of using this for a sympathy card. I actually like how it came out and hope you do also.

Here is a close up of the butterfly...
Thanks for looking!

Scrapmaster's Paradise Color Challenge #139

I just found out that I am going to be a Great Aunt. My niece is having her first baby and I wanted to send her a congrats card. The new Scrapmaster's Paradise Color Combo Challenge #139 is great for a baby card. They aren't going to find out what sex the baby is so this is perfect 'cause it has the pink and blue in it.

Check out all the great new products that Sami has come up with this month. Just click on the above link. For this card I used the following products:

Stamping Bella: baby carriage bella for the pregnant girl. (I didn't use the carriage)

SP & Company: Happy Banner Stamp Set
Big Build a Banner 1 Die Tools

Spellbinder's Labels 18

I used some stickles on the brown polka dots, her purse, shoes and headband. I probably wouldn't use them on the polka dots if I did it again. Hope you like it!!
