I decided to do something a little different than a card this time. I made a gift card holder for my D-I-L's birthday gift. This is a super easy holder to make.
I stamped Happy Birthday in blue ink but it's kind of hard to tell. The sentiment comes from SP & Company's Happy Banner's stamp set. This is one of my "go to" sets.
Thanks for looking!

Summer Food & Drinks Challenge
This card is being entered in Pink By Design's Summer Food & Drinks Challenge.
I think burgers on the grill qualify for summer food. This was an invitation I made for a cookout.

Color Combo Challenge #145
It's another Color Combo Challenge #145 over at Scrapmaster's Paradise. The colors are:
I used SP & Company's Certified Awesome stamp set and dies and Tiny Build a Banner stamp set. I also used Close to My Heart Classmate Alphabet set for the ruled paper. The background paper is from Echo Park Beautiful Life. I thought the sentiment fit perfectly with this paper.
I mounted everything on a navy card base and popped up the banner. Super simple! I didn't even add any bling. I made this card in about an hour which is very quick for me. Spelling out "beyond measure" took the most time.
I'm thinking of giving this to my hubbie who is more amazing than I let him know!

Another Entry!
I've decide to enter another card in the Scrapmaster's Paradise Trends Challenge #10 using negative space and My Creative Time's Bling it Up Challenge
I wanted to do another take on this by using the negative space of a die cut that I had and sponged it onto a card. The flower is from Stampin' Up. It's called Blessed Mother. I used Tim Holtz Distress Pens to color the stamp. The sentiment is from SP & Company's Bold Sentiment I. I used a gem for the center of the flower.
I didn't have anybody in particular to give this card to but you can never have to many thank you cards in your stash. This was probably one of the quickest cards I have made!!

Pink By Design Challenge
Pink by Design is having a Vintage Challenge. There is still time to enter.
I used K & Company Designer Mat Pad for the papers. The bird and the nest are also from the same company. To me the papers and colors look very vintagy (if that is a word :) ). The Happy Mother's Day was cut on my Cricut. Of course, it had to have some bling so I used pearls.
My mom loved the card!

One Card...3 Challenges!
This card will be entered in the following challenges:
SP & Company Color Challenge #144 - using the following colors:

SP & Company Trends Challenge #10 - using negative space.
My Creative Time Designer Challenge - Bling It Up
The background paper is from Echo Park Beautiful Life. It had all the colors that I needed for the color challenge. The base of the card is red although it's hard to tell from the picture. I cut out a scallop from the middle of the paper using my Spellbinders die (thus giving me the negative space).
The Happy Birthday and the heart come from SP & Company's Round Sentiments I stamp set. The banner is from SP & Company's Stitchery Doo Banners set. Kelly was spelled using SP & Company's Tiny Build A Banner set.
The butterflies were punched using Stampin' Up punches and stamped with the Stampin' Up Papillon Potpourri. I've never seen a red butterfly but I'm sure there's one out there somewhere is this great big world! I blinged up the flower centers using Stickles and put rhinestones on the butterflies.
On the inside of the card I used SP & Company's Bold Birthday Sentiments.
This will be the first card that I have made for my new daughter-in-law. I hope she enjoys it.
